Meet Mrs. Buddin!
I am originally from Greensboro, NC but I currently reside in Raleigh, NC. This is my fourth year as the counselor at Fuller GT/AIG Magnet Elementary School. I cannot wait to see your children continue to grow and excel this school year!
I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a science concentration from North Carolina State University. After my wonderful undergraduate experience at N.C. State, I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel-Hill and received my Masters of Education in School Counseling.
My school counseling beliefs are founded on the American School Counselor Association's (ASCA) National Model and Strengths-Based School Counseling framework. In order to best serve our students and our community, the Fuller counseling department focuses on implementing a comprehensive school counseling program based on school-wide data and the ASCA standards in classroom guidance and group counseling settings. As for individual counseling, I focus on how the students' strengths can help them overcome adversity.
During my free time, I love to spend time with my husband, friends and family, read books, travel to new places, and listen to music. I also love to attend NC State football games and cheer on the Wolfpack!
I am so thankful for the opportunity to positively impact the students at Fuller and help them reach their highest potential. I am looking forward to another wonderful year with all of the amazing students, staff, and community!
